There were two things that really resonated with me at Victoria and Kevin's wedding. The first was the way Kevin looked at Victoria, it's the way every girl dreams about. I remember the first time I noticed this at our meeting back in September and I gushed again at it during their engagement session in October, but this past Saturday I swear the look was even more full of joy, love and admiration than I had ever seen before. I guess the idea of now having your once friend now becoming your life partner and forever love can do that to a guy. I have no doubt that the love Victoria and Kevin share is anything less than magical.
The second thing that stuck with me leaving their wedding was that although this was a huge day in their lives, Victoria and Kevin didn't once put themselves at the center of all that was going on. Above even their love for one another shone their love for God and their desire to build a wonderful and strong marriage around His incredible love. As a married woman myself, this was a great reminder of where this gift of marriage comes from and the importance of seeking the Lord together with my husband.
