Well after a crazy year of pregnancy and a new little baby I am finally getting around to blogging some of my wonderful weddings from last season. Josh and Sierra’s wedding day was held at a beautiful farm owned by a family friend, Lyntrail Estates. The barn was not quite in wedding condition when Sierra decided to use the property for her wedding celebration but with some hard work and creativity from her mom, the property’s owner and her family and friends they were able to create a stunning wedding! It wasn’t only the perfect details that had me gushing at this wedding, the love shared was so beautiful as well. It started right from the very beginning where Sierra shared heartfelt moments with her mother, father and bridesmaids while getting ready. Being newly pregnant and very emotional at the time it was hard to stay focused and not burst into tears every second. It was clear how close Sierra’s family is and the joy they had knowing that she had found a loving and Godly man to walk through life with. Sierra and Josh chose to have a first look but unlike other weddings I have photographed before they chose to recite personal vows to each other without anyone else present. This was another one of those amazing, love filled moment of the day. I loved how this brought the focus back to the most important part of the day, not the flowers, the dress or the beautiful venue, but the love between these two and the life they will build and walk through together. Sierra and Josh, thank you for allowing me the honour of capturing your wedding day!
