I cannot talk enough about how important connecting with other creatives in this business is. Making new contacts and friends takes what can be a very lonely job and makes it so much more fun and social. On top of this it also helps to push me to develop my craft further by allowing myself to be inspired by others and have conversation about the many aspects of the wedding photography world. In the summer/fall my good photographer friend Sara and I decided we really wanted to do a small, creative workshop to allow us some time to learn and be creative without the pressures of a wedding day. After admiring the work of Jess Imrie and the many beautiful creative sessions her and her great friend Kendra of Confetti and Co. had organized over the past year we decided to reach out see if they would be willing to host a small workshop for the two of. Soon after two other lovely photographers joined our workshop and it turned into a lovely creative afternoon of fun and new friends! Thanks again to Jess and Kendra for all of your hard work in planning and leading this great workshop! I learned so much and had a blast and feel bad it took me so long to finally get these photographs up on the blog. Enjoy the beauty that was created at this awesome workshop below.
