My Favourite Splash Pads in Burlington
Summer finally decided to peak out this past weekend, and with the hot weather comes fun days at the splash pad with my little ones! Finding great splash pads in Burlington can turn a good summer day into a great one for both kids and parents. Some things I look for when choosing a splash pad in Burlington are fun water elements that my kids will love, shade nearby, a bench or place for adults to sit, a playground to extend the outing, and washrooms. Check out my favourite splash pads in Burlington below.
Brant Hills Park Splash Pad: 2300 Duncaster Dr, Burlington
Brant Hills Park has one of my favourite splash pads in Burlington! It is loaded with lots of unique water elements for kids to play and interact with, making the experience so much more engaging. It is a large splash pad, so it never feels overly crowded, and there are great, shaded places for parents to sit and enjoy watching their children play. There are washrooms nearby at the Brant Hills Community Center, and two playgrounds, one directly beside the splash pad and another just a short walk across the parking lot. You could easily spend an entire afternoon at this Burlington splash pad.
Hidden Valley Park Splash Pad: 1137 Hidden Valley Rd, Burlington
Hidden Valley Park has another one of my favourite splash pads in Burlington! This one does not have lots of interactive elements, but the water that squirts up out of the ground here is like no other splash pad I have seen, and your kids are guaranteed to get soaked and have a blast! Hidden Valley Park has washrooms, a fantastic playground and lots of shade, benches and picnic tables, making it a great location for a long summer outing.
I hope you and your family will try one or both of my favourite splash pads in Burlington this summer! Happy splashing!
