When Should I Book My Newborn Photography Session? Oakville Newborn Photographer
One of my favourite parts of being an Oakville newborn photographer is being able to create timeless memories for my clients in the comfort of their home! There’s something incredibly special about capturing those first precious moments in a space that’s filled with love and warmth. Each photograph tells a unique story, from the gentle cuddles to the soft yawns, and as an Oakville newborn photographer, I’m here to help you preserve those fleeting moments forever.
A question I am often asked is when I should book my newborn photography session. After photographing newborns and families for the past ten years as an Oakville newborn photographer, I say don't stress over specific timing for your newborn photos; the most important thing is that you take them.
If you are looking for those fresh, sleepy, true newborn photos, I would recommend having your newborn photos done between ten days and three weeks old. However, if during this time you are not feeling ready for photos, or you’d rather have photos of the baby once they are a bit older, newborn photos can be done up until the baby is three or four months old. Each age range will provide you with the most important thing: images of this once-in-a-lifetime moment welcoming your newest little one to your family.
Whether you are currently expecting or have already welcomed your new little love, if you are hesitating to book your newborn photos, let this be a sign for you to take the leap and schedule your session; you will not regret it!
